Smart Track’s Trailer Tracking technology is unique among our competitors in that it provide a variety of options. Choose one option or combine multiple trackers to provide the level of service you require. All trackers run on a single Smarttrack system.

Choose one or combine from the following options

A trailer tracker that does not need external power supply. Battery life of 5 years with replaceable batteries
A trailer tracker that does not need external power supply. Battery life of 12 years. With non-rechargeable batteries, based on unit updating 1 time per day using triangulation only.
Trailer tracker that connects up to the trailers lights. The unit can update once per day for 10 weeks without any external power supply. It has a movement sensor to detect if it is being removed from the trailer triggering an alarm. The unit is highly programmable to suit customer demands.
Smart Track connects to the trailers brake system ensuring unlimited power supply from the time of connection to the trailer.

All solutions Smart Track provide backup battery level notification that triggers an alert to recharge the unit to secure continuous tracking.

To ensure stable and consistent trailer tracking, Smart Track can monitor when the unit gets external power supply for all units connected the trailers power supply through the trailer lights or the braking system.
