I manage a busy hire fleet of construction plant with over 100 units and a road transportation fleet of 6 units. I have looked at several different tracking packages but decided to opt for Claus Jenson’s “Smart Track” Package. My reasons for selecting Claus’ package starts with the most important component of all, “personal service”. I have found Claus to be totally customer focused and am never left wanting for a speedy personalised solution to any issue I may encounter. I am currently using smart track for my servicing and maintenance schedule as it is far more intuitive and accurate than my €30K hire software package. It is also far more user friendly. In addition, the system can be customised to track different key indicators such as ignition activation, fuel consumption, engine revolutions, battery draw amongst many other indicators. The modular nature of this package makes it a “1 size fits all” solution for my business. The software itself is very user friendly and highly customisable to my needs. We have significantly reduced our insurance costs and have increased our revenue by having detailed reporting of when a machine was “actually” being used and having the pdf reporting to back it up. I have experienced many different packages and am receiving weekly calls from other suppliers of tracking services from larger companies but for me, it’s all about personal service and not dealing with faceless phone in centres or having to re-explain my issues to multiple people. I couldn’t recommend Claus Jenson highly enough would take this opportunity to thank him for his service and innovation to date. After we got Smart Track’s fleet management system in our fleet of trucks it has made managing the fleet much easier. Not only do we know where the trucks are at all times, but the system also provides us with a full detailed report over how many loads each truck makes every day. We can see how long each truck is waiting on getting loaded or unloaded. This helps us to address time-waist and we can therefore go in and improve the flow where needed. The system is easy to use due to its user-friendly layout. Smart Track has been very helpful and come up with some special solutions for our business.
